About Dominique - First Class Honours Degree, B.A. Hons, in Photography, Video and Digital Imaging

Dominique is highly skilled at creating vibrant, spontaneous images that capture the personality and individual characteristics behind her subjects. Her warm personality and passion for her work ensure that you will feel relaxed and comfortable, an essential factor in allowing her to capture candid moments and an insight into the real you.

Dominique is inspired by photographers like Annie Leibovitz for her ability to reveal the intimacy of her subjects and Yervant for his mastery of posing and exquisite imagery.

Dominique works closely with every customer from meeting you at the door when you first arrive through to working with you to select and perfect your final images. She loves to meet and get to know new people and whatever the project, every image is created for your unique style and personality. Photography is never just a job to Dominique; it’s her hobby and her passion.

About Liam - Upper Second Class Honours Degree, B.A. Hons, in Interactive Multimedia)

Liam has vast experience in photography, film and graphic design for all types of media. He uses his broad knowledge of the visual arts to bring a unique style to York Place Weddings.

Liam’s approach to photographing a wedding is to be unobtrusive. He believes a wedding should be photographed quietly, sympathetically and without dictating what happens in front of him to achieve a truthful reflection of the day. He looks to compliment Dominique’s work by only using the natural light available on the day and concentrating on the smaller, spontaneous details that make up the wedding.

In addition to being the second photographer in the team, Liam designs all of our books and albums. He uses his creative skills to create wedding albums that give you the most beautiful and timeless heirloom of your special day.

Liam’s photographic inspirations are varied, from the street photography of Henri Cartier-Bresson to motorsport photographer Darren Heath. He also draws inspiration from film makers like Martin Scorsese and Paul Thomas Anderson.
