“These are unbelievable, you guys have captured the day beautifully! Your incredible level of attention to detail and unique perspective has allowed us to revisit all of it and really savour every moment both big and small. These are a breathtaking memento of a very special day, and I am sure both of our families will cherish these for a very long time, I am certain that both Kim and I will! We wanted to say thanks again, not only for your amazing results, but also the way in which you and the guys do what you do – it was a pleasure to have had you there on the day and it is our privilege to have had you as our photographers.” – Simon & Kim
Kimberley and Simon’s big day may not have been our first Chinese Wedding but, in a stunning mix of Chinese and British culture it was full of firsts nonetheless! It was, for example, the first time we’d ever seen a traditional Chinese Lion Dance and it was an amazing sight to greet the guests as they stepped out onto the lawn in front of the grand old house, with pulsing drumbeats, spectacular dancing and of course the great beast itself!
Perhaps the biggest first though happened the moment we met Simon and his groomsmen in the morning as they walked towards the house of the waiting bride dressed in shorts, trainers and “traditional” Chinese tunics… what a sight it was! Before entering the house though it was only right that they pass some tests to prove their worthiness and the devious bridesmaids were more than happy to oblige! Chinese door games that ranged from quite unpleasant to frankly disturbing (but always sidesplittingly hilarious) offered undeniable proof of just how much Simon loves Kimberley and we salute his commitment!!
Thanks so much to Simon and Kim for allowing us to be a part of their fantastic day and thanks so for the wonderful present, you sent us!
