FESTIVAL TIPI WEDDING // KENT
“We don’t really how to describe the slideshow you produced but the words truly epic spring to mind. The style of the pictures is absolutely awesome, we can’t stop smiling. you guys absolutely nailed the essence of our day and we can’t thank you enough”. – Laura & Tom
Can you believe it is December?! We have had such a whirlwind of a year and feel so honoured to have captured so many wonderful weddings in the UK and abroad. We have started looking through our photographs for our best of 2014 post and it is a minefield of amazing locations, incredible couples and simply some of the best days we have ever had. We will be sharing all soon but first we have to catch up on a LOT of blog posts!
First up is Laura and Tom’s Festival themed wedding in Kent. Dubbed by the awesome newly-wedded Mr and Mrs Woolner “Woolstock” this wedding was so fun, funky and creative it just blew our minds! Tom and Laura’s friends and family were warm, hilarious and wonderfully crazy throughout the day but our favourite thing about this day, and a sight we will truly never forget, was the place where Laura and Tom got married. They exchanged their vows beneath the most incredible tree in the back yard of Tom’s family garden. For 600 years this beautiful tree has stood proudly on this spot, it’s dappled leaves providing shade and shelter to generation after generation of Tom’s ancestors, it’s roots spreading far and wide across their land. It was only fitting then that it be here that the newest branch of the Woolner family tree was sprouted as Tom and Laura were wed beneath the ancient crown of this old family friend on perhaps the most perfect day in all its rich history.
It really was an incredible moment and one we will always remember and it was a privilege to document such an occasion.
Laura, Tom thanks so much guys for choosing us to capture these memories for you, we had an utter blast being your Festival Tipi Wedding Photographer and the memories of Woolstock will never be forgotten.
