First Look Wedding | Robin’s Hood Bay
The First Look. It’s as yet far from commonplace in the UK yet but is a well-known phrase between people in the wedding world. The First Look is where the bride and groom choose to see each other before the ceremony and have a very special and private moment together where it is only them (and two stealthy ninja photographers!). We had always wanted to be a part of a First Look and we were honoured when Petra and Gerard asked to share their very special moment with us both. Their wedding was utterly amazing and we can’t wait to share the full day on our blog soon, it took place in Robin’s Hood Bay and they got married in The Swell Cafe, a formal chapel with original 1820’s auditorium and it was fabulous – but more about that soon!
We asked Gerard to wait on the beach overlooking the sea and then once in position we asked Petra to emerge from the cute little cottage she was getting ready in and to come and meet her groom. It was truly spellbinding when Petra saw Gerard standing out there on the sands waiting for her, she took an intake of breath and a little squeak of excitement (she didn’t know what his outfit would be as it was a surprise) and then she made her way slowly to her man as he nervously awaited his bride.
It was magic.
Thank you so much guys for allowing us to be a part of your First Look special moment and capturing the memories. We will never forget it.
