Masson Farm Weddings

Masson Farm Weddings by York Place Studios:

Masson Farm weddings take place in a secluded setting within the beautiful Derbyshire countryside near Matlock. The venue is nestled amongst the rolling hills and can be found within a five minute walk from the spectacular ‘Heights Of Abraham’ cable car ride that rises up and above the town of Matlock.

Masson farm is the absolute perfect venue for a gorgeous rustic country wedding. Firstly Swallow Barn, with its high vaulted beams, provides a beautifully romantic setting for the wedding ceremony. Secondly alongside the barn itself the stunning backdrop of fields and woods provides the natural backdrop for a tipi or marquee wedding where you can enjoy spectacular views across the valley.

Why We Love This Venue:

For us as wedding photographers the best thing about Masson Farm is that warm country atmosphere. It’s the sort of venue where you can’t help but just want to relax by the fireside and look out on the beautiful setting around you. Not only that but there can surely be no more spectacular entrance to a wedding venue than the incredible Heights of Abraham. It’s fair to say that watching the bride, groom and guests arrive up into the hills by Cable Car is a Derbyshire wedding photographer’s dream!

“Liam and Dom were amazing! From the very beginning it felt like having a couple of friends hanging out with us for the day – just that those friends were constantly taking pictures of us. They understood what we were looking for and were able to deliver it without feeling intrusive at all. Highly recommended.”
