Middleton Post Office Tea Parlour Wedding
Middleton Post Office Tea Parlour is a gorgeous and intimate place for a wedding reception, but when Tamsin and David first asked us to photograph their wedding there we were surprised and excited in equal measure to hear that it was a working Post Office! As wedding photographers, we do get to experience some wonderful and unique venues but the idea of a wedding reception in a Post Office (albeit a Post Office which doubles as an amazing tea room) was new even to us! Even more excitingly though this was the Tea Parlour’s first-ever wedding so it was a unique experience for them too! We started the day at The White Swan in Pickering where our bride and groom were getting ready before heading for an emotional ceremony at Malton Registry Office. It was a small gathering and we were honoured to be a part of the day and photograph such a special event with Tamsin and David’s closest friends and family. The Post Office had put on an amazing spread of sandwiches, cupcakes of every different size and tea of every kind imaginable. After experiencing these delightful tasty treats first hand we can definitely recommend a trip to Middleton to enjoy the food and extraordinary setting!
Huge thanks to Tamsin and David for their hospitality and for allowing us to capture their special day, we were so excited the minute they told us about their unique plans for their wedding celebrations and they certainly didn’t disappoint!
With mountains of cupcakes and gallons of tea, our couple had simply the most perfect English wedding!
