Then before we knew it … March had arrived! 2018 is already passing like a blur… last week we presented at the inaugural PVSocial event in Leeds and in less then two weeks we will be heading to Japan for our yearly street trip to hone our skills and prepare ourselves for the incoming wedding season. We are so excited about the weddings we have booked this year; from weddings in Poland, France and Spain to Castle weddings in Scotland, teepees in Yorkshire and City weddings in London and beyond, we think this year has it all and we can’t wait to get started. We also already have quite a few speaking events booked in for 2018 (The Residency, X-Weddings) but we are excited to announce that we will also be speaking in Belfast in October at Burn where, alongside our keynote speech we will also be giving what we expect to be one of our only workshops of the year. Despite only being announced less than 48 hours ago over a third of tickets have been sold already, so if you want to see us go to the website here.
Most importantly though on to the weddings! We spent a lot of time in London last year shooting some gorgeous city weddings and today’s featured blog post was definitely one of the highlights! Thinking back to Bex & Aaron’s quite extraordinary wedding there’s really only one word to describe it — Stylish. Everything about these two just oozed style, with fashion expert and enthusiast Bex wearing a rather less-than-traditional but impeccably styled (and absolutely divine!) Gucci dress and the ceremony taking place at the quite breathtaking historic London church of St Bartholomew. We were also excited to have the chance to visit the brand-spanking new London venue “The Ned” for the reception – a former disused Midland Bank and now one of the most stunning venues around; just perfect for this discerning couple’s impeccable taste! With elegant fine-dining and eloquent speeches in the tapestry room proving the perfect juxtaposition to the most raucous of parties taking place in the chic setting of the Saloon, it was a truly magnificent setting to end a beautiful wedding day, capped off by some happily-coincidental fireworks being set off from one of the neighbouring buildings across the London City skyline.
Bex & Aaron thank-you for inviting us to be a part of it and for all those who were there and all who weren’t, here’s a little taster of what their gorgeous wedding at the Ned looked and felt like.
