This Is Reportage Award Winning Images
This is Reportage is a widely respected international competition celebrating the art of documentary wedding photography. This is Reportage rewards not just individual unposed images but outstanding collections of images that successfully portray the story of a wedding day.
We were proud to be invited to judge the inaugural round of the competition and Liam was overall winner of the competition worldwide in 2018 and top of the UK rankings in 2019.
Fearless Photographers Award Winning Images
Fearless Photographers has an international reputation for celebrating extraordinary wedding images that break the norm. A highly curated competition, only around 1-3% of entries come away with Fearless Awards (about 150 photos out of typically around 10,000 entries) both Dominique and Liam are multiple winners and Liam was the overall winner of the 2019 UK Fearless Wedding Photographer of the year competition.
Rangefinder Annual Photography Award
Rangefinder Annual is one of the most respected photography publications in the world and their annual competition garners thousands of entries across multiple disciplines of photography. We’re proud to say that Liam’s image “The Snow Bride” won first place in the wedding category, meaning it earned not only an award but publication in the annual itself and a place in Rangefinder’s exhibition at the WPPI Conference & Expo at the MGM Grand Las Vegas.
The Wedding Industry Awards
We entered the Wedding Industry Awards (TWIA’s) for four years running between 2014 and 2017 and were delighted to win the Best Wedding Photographer in the North East Region three times (2014, 2016 & 2017) and Highly Commended in 2015. The TWIA’s recognise and reward excellence in the wedding industry, with the judging process placing an emphasis on in-depth reviews from our wedding couples and we are so grateful that they took the time and effort to vote for us.
WPJA Awards
The Wedding Photojournalist Association contest judges have been recognized by their industry peers, winning top awards as staff picture editors, staff photojournalists, and newsroom mentors while working for these and other leading publications and journalism organizations. The competition celebrates the best documentary wedding imagery from around the world.
ISPWP Awards
The International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers was created by professional photographers to raise the standards of the wedding photography profession. Their quarterly competition celebrates the best work in the industry and we’re proud to be amongst the award winners.

We’ve been interviewed on the digital airwaves by This Is Reportage, Burn, Ninedots and Michael Beaulieu.

Our 2017 Photography Masterclass was also attended by editor-in-chief of the brilliant Cameracraft magazine David Kilpatrick who wrote a fantastic 12-page feature about both the workshop and our wider work and photography. We’re grateful to David and Icon Publications for their extraordinarily kind words and for such a beautifully written piece, you can find more information about the article by clicking this link.
``Dom and Liam transfer their roots from street photography to weddings by literally photographing ordinary moments and situations in an incomparable, interesting and creative way. You don't need extraordinary places with extraordinary people to create a successful reportage, you can do it in any situation and York Place are the masters.``
